SPECIALTY CROP BLOCK GRANT PROJECTS

 

In 20XX, New Appalachian Farm Research Center partnered with Upshur and Tucker County Schools, their ProStart programs, students, local growers and the Office of Child Nutrition to evaluate the efficiency of providing minimal preparation and vacuum packing products for use in schools. In addition, recipes were developed utilizing locally grown products. Information gained from this project was compiled and lessons learned were shared.
